My Art
The uneven glass surfaces of my tempered glass mosaics create a sparkle of light that constantly changes. My challenge becomes the presentation. A still photograph catches only a brief moment, so most of the art's personality is hidden. It is an inviting canvas that encourages up close examination and touching to fully explore what is happening behind the puzzled artwork.
My Medium
I use tempered glass to create colorful mosaics. The glass is on top of my artwork which is made with acrylics, bronzing powders and sparkle. Sometimes I also add grout to the mosaics to accentuate the tempered glass pieces. I can use salvaged wood windows to frame the mosaics for a unique look.
